This NOFO will support the development and dissemination of education, training and technical assistance—emphasizing prevention strategies—for clinicians and disease intervention specialists to improve sexually transmitted infection (STI) patient care. The NOFO aims to improve the capacity of providers, clinical sites, and healthcare systems to diagnose, manage, treat and counsel individuals with and at-risk for STIs, in order to reduce STI morbidity and improve health on an individual, local and national level.
