Changelog

What changed, week by week.

New data, new features, and the corrections we made — including the ones we found in our own numbers. See how we verify for the practices behind them.

Contract vehicles, PSC markets, New Entrants, AI drafting, and an accuracy audit

  • Every number on the homepage was checked against USAspending.gov and SAM.gov. Several were relabelled or corrected — see How we verify for what changed and why. See it →
  • SAM.gov status is now "Active" only when a registration is in SAM's latest full extract and hasn't expired. Lapsed or dropped registrations show as Expired or "Not in current SAM extract", and partner checks treat them as needing review. See it →
  • Contract vehicle pages for 22 named vehicles — GSA MAS, OASIS, Alliant 2, SEWP V, CIO-SP3, SeaPort-NxG and more — with holders, ordering agencies and active orders. See it →
  • Market pages for every major Product and Service Code (PSC). See it →
  • New Entrants report: companies winning their first prime federal contract, checked against each company's prime contract history back to fiscal year 2015. See it →
  • Contracts coming up for recompete are now named by what they are (for example "Management and Operation of Sandia National Laboratories"), with the company that holds them and its parent.
  • Pro: AI solicitation summaries, the RFP compliance matrix, and AI proposal drafts that mark anything you didn't provide as [TO FILL] instead of inventing it. See it →
  • Opportunity details list every attachment on the SAM.gov notice, with file names and sizes, and search can filter to notices that have attachments.
  • Weekly Recompete Briefing: a free public page, PDF and CSV every week. See it →
  • Server-side CSV exports across opportunities, recompetes, competitors and more.
  • A redesigned homepage and app, use-case pages, an FAQ, a security page, and a simpler sign-in that goes straight to your dashboard. See it →

Public contractor pages and market hubs

  • Free public profiles for 25,000 contractors: SAM registration, award history and exclusion screening linked by UEI.
  • Market pages by NAICS code, by agency and by NAICS × agency, with spending trends, top contractors and open opportunities. See it →
  • Free contractor verification — screen a company by name, UEI or CAGE code and download a dated screening record. See it →
  • An MCP server so AI agents can query GovFabric data. See it →
  • Pages that depend on recent contract data now say how complete that data is and when it was last loaded.

Partner checks you can rely on, and the core workflow

  • Partner checks link exclusions only by identifier. Lists that publish only names (OFAC, export-control lists, EPA enforcement) are shown as possible matches to review — never as findings about a company. See it →
  • Companies are ranked as corporate families, so a contractor with many SAM registrations counts once.
  • Recompete dates use each contract's final end date with all options, not the current option period.
  • Full-text opportunity search, showing each solicitation once rather than every amendment.
  • A bid pipeline to track opportunities from Identify to Won or Lost.
  • Onboarding pulls your SAM registration to pre-fill your company profile.
  • Self-serve API keys. See it →
  • Removed personalization and features that weren't real.

Every public claim made verifiable

  • Figures on the site now come from the live database with their as-of dates, replacing hand-written numbers.
  • Removed claims we couldn't back up, including a security certification we don't hold. See it →
